Last week we celebrated Maths Week Ireland with a range of fun and engaging activities for all year groups. First Years took part in a Maths Eyes video competition and a Times Tables competition, while Second Years enjoyed Puzzles and Riddles, a Maths Murder Mystery and Dingbats. Third Years put their skills to the test with Maths Bingo, and our TY students tackled a variety of puzzles and brain teasers. Fifth Years competed in Countdown and the Maths Olympics, while Sixth Years took on the Countdown challenge. The activities encouraged students to develop their problem-solving skills, think creatively and enjoy the fun side of mathematics through friendly competition and teamwork.
