We are delighted to have our very own Ember JOY Team here in Loreto St Michael’s, continuing a long-standing and much-loved Loreto tradition.

Our Ember Team is an Ethos Team, inspired by the beautiful Loreto values of Justice, Freedom, Joy, Sincerity and Truth. The team provides our students with opportunities to live out these values in meaningful and practical ways, both within our school community and beyond.

The Ember JOY Team is passionate about promoting kindness, compassion, inclusion and social justice. Through activities, campaigns and initiatives throughout the school year, the team encourages everyone to think about how small acts of kindness and positive choices can make a real difference to others.

We are also delighted to participate in the Young SVP programme, giving our students the opportunity to learn about social justice, community engagement and advocacy. Through Young SVP, students are encouraged to identify issues that matter to them, develop their understanding of social justice and take action to make a positive difference.

We look forward to seeing our Ember JOY Team grow and flourish as they inspire others, strengthen our school community and proudly carry forward the Loreto tradition of justice, freedom, joy, sincerity and truth.
