Gaelic Football is an important part of life in St. Michael’s. We have a proud history and currently compete at the A grade at all levels. Recent achievements include winning the Lidl All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior A final in 2023. The school also hosts the annual McKeever U15 All-Ireland 9-a-side series run in partnership with the GAA Future Leaders Programme.

Every year, the TY GAA Future Leaders Programme hosts a tournament between 1st year classes. Students also have opportunities to compete in 1st year blitzes, in the U14, U16 & U19 Leinster A grade and in the U15 All-Ireland 9-a-side series.
