On Tuesday 24th February, Our Senior Soccer Team played against Loreto Balbriggan.
At the beginning of the soccer match we observed a minute of silence to pay our respects to our friend and fellow student Mia Lily who sadly passed away last week and will be greatly missed by all.
The girls went on to play a brilliant match achieving a hard fought 3-2 win over Loreto Balbriggan in the shield semi-final.
We had a strong first half with two excellent goals, one from Jane Smyth and one from Aisling McElwaine bringing us to 2-1 at half time.
We remained dominant in the second half with another goal from Jane Smyth. It was a well deserved win for the girls with hard work all throughout the team and an excellent performance by our girls in defence.
