Yesterday saw our senior side play their first game of 2026/27 season. After receiving a bye in the first round of the senior cup our opponents today were La Cheile from Tyrrellstown.
We started off strong passing well and creating problems for our opponents and it wasn’t long before we got in the scoresheet with a well taken goal from Mia G. Aisling Mc added another great goal before half time.
Again the second half saw some great passages of play between the girls. Aoife scored a free kick from well outside the box, and to top the day off a superb pass from Fionnula over the top ball into Mia who calmly converted to get her second.
The final score was 4-0. Well done girls today a great team performance and well done to the girls who made their debut for the senior team- Caoilinn, Cadhla, Cait, Fallon and Rachel.
