This week, our TY students returned to St Anne’s Primary School to begin this year’s Reading Buddy Programme. It was wonderful to see the TYs getting to know their Fifth Class buddies, sharing stories and enjoying time together reading and chatting about novels they are currently enjoying.
This year, every single TY student will have the opportunity to become a Reading Buddy, working with pupils across St Anne’s from Junior Infants right through to Sixth Class.
This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils from both Loreto schools to share their love of reading and build meaningful connections.
