Loreto St Michael’s is proud to have 3 projects in this year’s BT Young Scientist Competition.
 
 
Shauna Esmonde 2nd year –  “The impact of gravitational lensing on galaxy clusters” 
 
Varvara Obukhovskaia and Weronika Kwasniowska (absent from picture) 3rd Year – “Investigating the impact of social media on Irish adolescent attitudes towards vaping”
 
Isobel Grimes Merrigan and Niamh Kearns – Transition Year – “Investigating if chemical doping can increase the voltage of piezoelectric crystals”
