Our Transition Year students have completed a fantastic two days of diverse workshops, blending practical life skills with exotic hands-on learning.
The week began with a captivating visit from Mel and Ben of Reptile Haven, where students got up close and personal with an array of fascinating reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. It was a thrilling, educational experience that challenged fears and promoted a deeper understanding of these unique creatures.
The focus then shifted to the high street as the students participated in an intensive coffee-making course with the Dublin Barista School. They mastered the fundamentals of espresso extraction, perfected their milk texturing, and even tried their hand at latte art—skills that are sure to be useful for their CVs (and for fueling future study sessions!).
A truly memorable and enriching experience for all!
