A huge thank you to Ms Deegan for organising this year’s reading initiative for our first years. ‘One year, One Book’ Will run through all of next week. Every student got a copy of Michael Morpurgo’s ‘Private Peaceful’ on loan and a bookmark to keep. These bookmarks were created by 8 of our fabulously talented first years.

At the end of each class next week first years will get 10-15 mins quiet reading time. Some teachers may even play the audio version to encourage everyone along. 

Monday 16th all first years will watch the film based on the book.

Please note: all first years are to have a book to read in all classes next week please. If they finish the book given, they must have another in their bag. Please check with your daughter/s each morning. Our school library is open and there is a book bank in the Study hall.
