Yesterday, Our TY Students attended the “Just 1 Life” event in the Solstice theatre in Navan This event was organised by Meath County Council and the Rotary Club of Navan. The event included presentations from various road safety advocates, including An Garda Siochana, the Fire Brigade, the National Ambulance Service, an A&E Consultant, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland and a bereaved parent. Its aim is to educate young people about the consequences of unsafe driving and to promote road safety. It was a very informative and eye opening experience for the students, reminding them and making them aware of the dangers that can occur whilst driving a vehicle on the road. We encourage all our students to take on the IRVA pledge to reduce road traffic collisions.
