January was Mary Ward Month in our lovely school! Several activities were held by our RE Department throughout the month to commemorate our inspirational founder, Mary Ward. One of these activities was a Mary Ward JOY Quiz for all of our amazing 1st years! It was a day certainly full of JOY!! Thank you so much to 1 Justice who decorated 26 tables with imperative reminders of ‘Be Kind’ and ‘Girl Power’! We love ‘Girl Power’ in Loreto, life is better for us all when girls support girls! Our 1st years had so much FUN answering questions on the History of Loreto, Guess the Teacher, Music, Movies, Disney and Riddles. We even broke up our quiz rounds with DANCING!! You can’t help but be full of JOY when you shimmy!! Always remember to be the kindest person in the room!
