Emmanuel 2026
Students took part in the annual Emmanuel Concert at the Helix on Wednesday. Emmanuel is a celebration of liturgical music organised by the Archdiocese of Dublin and has been running since 2004. Schools from across Dublin participate in this special event each year. This marked the first year that Loreto Navan took part in the concert.
The girls represented the school with great enthusiasm, singing wholeheartedly and participating in all activities. The day began with a gathering of 20 schools at Our Lady of Victories Church in Glasnevin. Some of the girls volunteered to speak about why they wanted to take part in Emmanuel. One student shared, “I’m here because I love music and wanted to meet students from other schools.”
Following this, the group travelled to the Helix, where the concert was held. Together with students from 20 other schools, more than 700 voices combined to produce an incredible and uplifting sound.
It was a deeply spiritual day, giving students the opportunity to pray, reflect, and sing together. All of the girls said they are already looking forward to taking part again next year.
