On Monday, November 10th, our 5th Year Business students visited Solas Eco Garden Shop for a hands-on case study investigation. Students began with a food-making module, baking their own scones, followed by practical experience in the e-commerce warehouse, where they sourced and packaged custom orders.
They then enjoyed an inspiring business talk with entrepreneur David Maher. The trip was both enjoyable and educational, and will support students as they prepare their AAC for the State Exams.
A big thank you to the Business Department for organising the trip, and to Mr O’Neill and Ms Finnegan for accompanying the students and to @solasecogardenshop for hosting a fantastic day.
