Loreto Secondary School St Michaels is a voluntary secondary school for girls, under the trusteeship of the Loreto Sisters. The school is situated in beautiful and spacious grounds on the banks of the River Boyne. Since 1833 St Michael's has provided girls from Navan and surrounding areas with an educational environment renowned for its excellence in academic and cultural achievements, and for the holistic development of all our students.
Today we have a vibrant community consisting of just over 860 students, teachers, parents and the Loreto Sisters we share our grounds with. Development Education and Social Justice are core element to a St Michael's Education as are the Loreto Values of Freedom, Justice, Joy, Truth and Sincerity.
St Michael's broad academic curriculum at both junior and senior cycle is complemented by a wide range of extracurricular opportunities including sport, music, student leadership, crafts, science and many, many more.
