Thursday 28 November 2024 saw our 6th Year History and Politics and Society students travel to Belfast to visit the Stormont parliament. On arrival, the group met with DUP MLA Harry Harvey who filled them in on his typical working week. From there, the group, lead by tour guide Ann Marie, moved to the Assembly and Senate Chambers, where they discussed the layout and functions of the rooms and debated in some topical matters of the day. Many thanks to Ms Nugent and Ms Cullen for their help in organising such a great trip.
