Congratulations to our Senior Gaelic Football team on winning their Division A All Ireland Final against Sacred Heart School, Westport in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford today. Each and every player showed true resilience, determination and belief against a strong Westport side, and they did St. Michael's proud! They have made history as the first St. Michael's team to win a Senior Division A All Ireland final - what a truly outstanding achievement! Thank you to Mr Newman, Ms Plunkett and Ms Shiels for mentoring and coaching the team throughout the year to help the team to reach their true potential and to earn the success they truly deserved. Thank you also to all of the staff who played a part throughout the years to help the team to refine their skills to allow them to be the players that they are today. Thank you also to the 7 buses of supporters and family, friends and past pupils who attended the game and to those who were cheering us on from Navan who could not attend today.
