Yesterday the 21st of March was World Down Syndrome Day. In order to raise awareness, talks were given to the junior students, and the TY’s held a bake sale and encouraged all pupils to wear odd socks. The TY’s had an educational and uplifting talk from Linda and her 4 year old daughter Grace who has Down syndrome. The girls raised over €470 for Down syndrome between the bake sale and collections.
