Loreto, St. Michael's celebrated Library Week Ireland 2024 with many events taking place throughout the entire week
- Daily riddles, competitions, fun facts and engaging videos about books, encouraging students to visit their school library
- Library Poster Competition - open to all students (entries by Wednesday 4th December). Winners: Ciara Murray (1S), Winniefred Sandi (2O) and Amelia Lynch (3F)
- Readathon for 2nd years - read a book, write a review, win a prize!
- Junior Book Club - Tuesday lunchtime
- Select a blind book date from the library shelf - don't judge a book by its cover - a fun way to be introduced to new authors, genres and narratives!
- Library Book Quiz - Thursday lunchtime in the school library (D31). Winners: Nirat Satsangi (2T0 and Laoise Leufer-Gavigan (2S)
